Beautiful, authentic lodge with stunning huts and a unique Maisonette style bedroom for the kids. the facilities are fantastic, including an open-air fitness room with amazing views, a pool and jacuzzi with a view, and a great lookout point. the location, situated on top of a rocky hill below a huge cliff, offers the most amazing view. the walk to the restaurant on the cliff is adventurous and enjoyable. the lodge provides free coffee and yummy cake in the afternoon.
During the winter season, the lack of windows and heaters made it challenging to stay warm. the buffet-style dinner was a bit plain compared to other lodges in the same price category.

lovely valentine's day stay at a stunning lodge with superb views, excellent furnishings, and attentive staff. The Eagles Nest restaurant climb was a unique and easy experience. Loved the beautiful garden, pools, and short walk to the Namibian Monument Valley. Buffet dinner and breakfast were excellent. Great value for money.
Limited indoor seating in the restaurant.

Lodge in Vingerklip was an absolutely magical place to stay. Nestled in the middle of nowhere, the spot was perfectly placed in harmony with its surroundings. We were in awe of the breathtaking views from the eagle's nest restaurant, situated on top of the plateau. the amenities were great, with two pools, various walking trails, and a waterhole right in front of our room.
Cons: Nothing could have been better!

Amazing views from the room and the restaurant on top of the mountain! Our romantic escape was made even better by the breathtaking scenery surrounding the lodge. the cozy huts had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We also loved the fact that there were two pools to choose from, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful Namibian weather. And the best part?
While the lodge was lovely overall, we did find a few minor drawbacks. the lack of heaters in the rooms made it a bit chilly during the evenings and mornings, especially in the winter season.

The room I stayed in at Vingerklip Lodge was absolutely amazing! It had a fully equipped private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries, which made me feel like I was in my own little spa retreat. The twin/double room also had a balcony, air conditioning, and a seating area, which made it feel so cozy and comfortable. I loved being able to relax and enjoy the fresh air on the balcony. Plus, the double room had a patio, which was perfect for enjoying my morning coffee. the room was just perfect for someone like me who loves comfort and relaxation.
I must admit, though, that I wasn't a big fan of the electric kettle in the double room. I prefer making my cup of tea on the stove, so it was a bit of a letdown for me.

I personally liked all the features, but some may find the lack of air conditioning in some units a downside.

We had a wonderful one-night stay at this beautiful Namibian lodge. Our room had a stunning view of a waterhole where we saw Kudus. The bar on the rock provided a rewarding sundowner experience with unreal views of the surrounding landscape. The sweeping views from the chalets, swimming pools, and restaurant were breathtaking. The hosts, Heinard and Stephany, made our stay pleasurable and were an asset to the lodge. The restaurant on top of the mountain, Eagle's Nest, offered amazing views and an excellent dinner. The manager was helpful and gave us great tips for our trip.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.
